1. Who we are
Best of Chinese Medicine operates two clinics in Ontario: 379 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, and 19 Dundas Street West, Mississauga. Our practitioners are registered with their Ontario regulatory colleges. These terms cover our website, bestofchinesemedicine.com, and our booking and contact forms.
2. Appointment requests
A request made through our website or by phone is a request, not a confirmed booking. First visits are confirmed by our front desk, usually within one business day, by phone or e-mail. Existing patients may manage follow-up appointments through their online account. We may decline or reschedule a request.
3. Fees, payment and insurance
Fees are listed on our pricing page and are payable at the clinic at the time of your visit. We do not bill insurers directly; we provide receipts you can submit to your insurance plan. Coverage is between you and your insurer, and we cannot guarantee reimbursement.
4. Not medical advice
Information on this website is general information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Your treatment is decided by your practitioner after an in-person assessment. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
5. Privacy
We collect the information needed to respond to your request: your name, phone number, e-mail, preferred clinic and time, and the reason for your visit. We do not ask for health card numbers, payment details or medical history through the website. Personal health information is handled under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act and our Privacy Policy.
6. Communications
By sending a request you agree that we may contact you by phone, e-mail or text about that request, your appointments and your intake form. You can ask us to stop at any time.
7. Website content
The content of this website belongs to Best of Chinese Medicine and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Ontario law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the website or from reliance on general information found there. Nothing in these terms limits our professional obligations to you as a patient.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
